Greg Garza – Chief Executive Officer

Greg Garza, DHA., MBA., is the Chief Executive Officer for IPM Medical Group, with 20+ years of experience delivering value in provider and payor healthcare organizations. Previously, he served as the President and CEO for CareMore and Aspire Health and the senior vice-president for CareOnSite Health, a national Occupational Healthcare Firm leading their Care Delivery and Business Development teams. Prior to this, he held senior leadership positions at Fresenius Medicare Care North America. Greg began his career as a USAF Combat S.E.R.E. Specialist, holds a Doctorate of Health Administration from Central Michigan University and serves as an Adjunct Professor at California State University Long Beach in the Health Sciences Department.

Joe Vegso – President

Joe Vegso is the President of IPM Medical Group, with 30+ years of experience working with healthcare organizations. Prior to IPM, he was COO for Prospira Pain Care based in Mountainview and Trumpet Behavioral Health. In addition, Mr. Vegso was the Senior Vice President of regional operations with McKesson Specialty Health/US Oncology. Prior to McKesson/US Oncology, Joe was at Concentra Health Services and held several positions with Rivien Health and LifeMark Health, a Canadian healthcare group, including CEO and COO. Joe received his Bachelor of Science from The Pennsylvania State University in Health and Physical Education and a Master of Science from The University of Arizona

Kevin Hogge – Chief Financial Officer

Kevin Hogge, CPA, is the CFO for IPM Medical Group; he is a financial and operational executive with 25+ years of diversified business management, finance, and accounting experience. He has served both public and privately held healthcare businesses ranging from start-ups to companies with annual revenues over $1 billion. In addition, Kevin has executed over 40 acquisitions, the sale of several companies, and debt and equity transactions totaling well over $1 billion. He has previously held senior positions as CFO for various public and privately held businesses and other senior financial positions. Kevin graduated from Virginia Tech with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting.

Annu Navani, MD – Chief Medical Officer

Dr. Annu Navani is the Chief Medical Officer for IPM Medical Group, with 20+ years of experience in the medical industry. Dr. Navani completed her Anesthesiology residency at the Medical College of Wisconsin, Milwaukee and a fellowship in Pain Medicine from the University of California, Davis. Over the last decade and a half, she has served as Founder and CEO of Comprehensive Spine and Sports Center. Dr. Navani is an Adjunct Clinical Associate Professor at the Division of Pain at Stanford University. Annu sits on the Editorial Board of the journal, Pain Physician and serves on the board of the American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians, The Ortho Biologic Institute Networks, California Society of Industrial Medicine and Surgery, and California Society of Interventional Pain
Physicians. She has also authored several national guidelines including opioids, interventional spine epidural procedures, facet joints, and biologics in the lumbar spine.
 

Jennifer LaPerre – Chief Operating Officer

Jennifer LaPerre is the Chief Operating Officer for IPM Medical Group, with 25+ years in the healthcare industry and retail space. Before joining IPM, Jennifer served as West Region President for CareMore, an Anthem-owned subsidiary. Previously to Anthem, she led business development for Mercy Virtual, and before Mercy Virtual, Jennifer led the strategy development and execution of Walmart Care Clinics. She has also served as Senior Vice President of Mercy Northwest Arkansas, Vice President of an eye care surgery start-up in Kansas City, and an Operation Executive with HCA Physician Services in Florida. Jennifer earned her bachelor’s degree in biology and chemistry and a master’s degree in healthcare administration from the University of Iowa. 

Melissa Moreno – Chief People Officer

Melissa Moreno is the Chief People Officer for IPM Medical Group, with 15+ years of experience as a trusted partner in coaching and guiding top-level executives to execute strategic and operational plans. From internet startups and construction to Fortune 50 companies such as The Walt Disney Company and most recently in care delivery with Anthem. She is a thought leader who leads with purpose and heart and has a passion for helping to guide the leadership and culture of the organizations she works with. Melissa earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Organizational Management with a focus in Human Resources from the University of La Verne. 

Kasra Amirdelfan, MD – Vice President of Business Development

Dr. Kasra Amirdelfan is the Vice President of Business Development and the Director of Clinical Research at IPM Medical Group, with 25+ years of experience in the healthcare industry. He received his medical degree from Texas A&M University, College of Medicine and completed his residency at John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth, Texas, an affiliated facility with UT Southwestern School of Medicine. Dr. Amirdelfan completed his fellowship in Interventional Pain Medicine at Pacific Pain Treatment Centers, in collaboration with California Pacific Medical Centers in San Francisco. He has authored over 90 scientific peer-reviewed publications in his specialty. He serves as the Vice President of Clinical Affairs and an executive board member of the American Society of Pain & Neuroscience (ASPN). He is also one of the founders of the Pacific Spine & Pain Society (PSPS).

Helen Iese Chief Compliance Officer

Helen Iese is the Chief Compliance Officer for IPM Medical Group, with over 12 years of experience developing, leading, and maintaining compliance, privacy, and risk management programs in healthcare. She has worked for organizations such as Sutter Health, Kaiser, and Stanford, as well as community health networks in the Bay Area. She is a strategist who is passionate about education/training and creating a culture of compliance. Helen completed her bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, master’s in business administration, and most recently completed her doctorate from the University of Southern California in Organizational Change & Leadership.
