Dr Bernhardt is a Board Certified Anesthesiologist specializing in pain management. Dr. Bernhardt began his work life as a professional bucking horse rider. After sustaining multiple injuries, he suffered from Chronic Pain and has since dedicated his life to alleviating pain in others. Dr. Bernhardt received his medical training at Drexel University College of Medicine and is Board Certified with the American Board of Anesthesia. At Sacramento Pain Clinic, he not only provides advanced interventional techniques but also utilizes an integrative approach that incorporates both Eastern and Western medicine. He empowers and assists his patients to return to work, improve their quality of life, and decrease dependence on medication and health providers. The skills acquired empower individuals to avoid recurrent injuries by increasing physical capacity to the highest level possible
Alene Antelman- Aldrich is the Physician Assistant in IPM Medical Group in Sacramento. Alene graduated at UC Davis PA and at Greissinger Medical Center for Post Grad – Surgical Residency. Her 28 years of experience as a physician assistant, she works at different clinical areas such as Cardiac and Pediatric Surgery, Urgent care, Weight loss, and Pain management. Alene shares her knowledge in Nutrition at Functional restoration Program- Sacramento Alene enjoys running, swimming, biking, hiking, paddle boarding, and skiing.
Dr. Brycen Moore is a Physical Therapist at IPM Sacramento. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from Sonoma State University, and his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from The George Washington University. Throughout his education and training, he has consistently focused on learning the most effective and up-to-date strategies to address persistent pain. Brycen focuses on understanding patients experiences in order to work with them to set meaningful goals that will make a difference in daily life. He is passionate about helping patients understand pain and the human body, helping them turn that knowledge into meaningful action, and seeing patients return to the activities that are important to them. In his free time, Brycen can usually be found reading, drinking coffee, hiking, rock climbing, or spending time with his wife and their two dogs, dachshunds named Theo and Herschell.
Shawn Reber, LMFT is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. She received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology from California State University Long Beach in 1995, and her Master's in Counseling Psychology, with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy, from the University of San Francisco in 2005. She has worked in a private practice setting providing therapy to individuals, families and children. Shawn also has an extensive history, spanning 10 years, overseeing programs for transitional age homeless foster youth. Most recently, she has provided individual and group therapy for clients diagnosed with severe mental illnesses using CBT and her primary modality. Shawn has a passion for serving others with compassion and unconditional positive regard, and believes in the healing power of authentic human connection.
