JienSup Kim, M.D. is ABPMR Board Certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. He graduated from Southwestern Adventist University with honors in Biology followed by graduating with a Master of Arts in Biology at Texas Christian University. Dr. Kim completed his medical training at Loma Linda University School of Medicine followed by a one-year internship at the University of Virginia Health and Science Center. He completed a residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Loma Linda University where he was distinguished with the Pride in Service Award. Following residency, he completed a one-year fellowship in interventional pain management. Dr. Kim served as both an attending physician and clinical professor at Loma Linda University educating his peers and future medical providers in the field of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. He remains a visiting clinical professor at Loma Linda University to this day Dr. Kim’s interests include neuropathic pain, back and neck pain, joint pain, headaches, fibromyalgia pain, abdominal pain, non-surgical management and rehabilitation of orthopedic issues and industrial injuries, and general debility. He is an expert in interventional pain techniques such as radiofrequency ablation, epidural steroid injections, selective nerve blocks, Botox administration, neuromodulation, and joint injections. Dr. Kim is available to see new patients immediately.
Dr. Martin Offenberger graduated in psychology from Cornell University and then obtained his MD from State University of New York Downstate Medical Center. He completed his training at Kings County Hospital in Brooklyn, New York. He served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War as Chief Medical Officer of the Air Force Clinic in the Azores Islands, Portugal. After service, he was a partner at Rosecrans Medical Group in Norwalk, California and then founded the More Institute, a school for human relations. Later, he founded Morehouse Medical Clinic in Brea, California, a multispecialty group featuring orthopedic surgery, neurosurgery, internal medicine, neurology, acupuncture, and psychotherapy. Subsequently, he served as Medical Director for a group of 29 addiction clinics throughout California. He then served as Physician Administrator for the International Pain Research Institute and Medical Clinic in Beverly Hills, California. For the past 20 years, he has been associated with Mesa Medical Group, a multispecialty group featuring injuries and illnesses of workers and professional athletes. His outside interests include people, systems of enlightenment and healing, sports, music, foreign travel and culture, philosophy and religion.
Dr. Esposito is a Spine Fellowship trained Orthopaedic Surgeon, specializing in injuries to the shoulders, knees, elbows and low backs. He has been practicing in the Orange County area as an orthopedic surgeon since 1982, providing continued excellent medical care to all patient's.
Eric M. Cachia has been a practicing Acupuncturist for 17 years in Workers' compensation and Personal injury. He holds 4 degrees and has attended law school. He is licensed in California and holds Doctor of Acupuncture licenses in Florida and Rhode Island as well. He has certifications in Acupuncture Orthopedics, Acupuncture injection therapy and as a Medical Laser Safety Officer. He has taught an Acupuncture certification program for Medical Doctors at the University of Miami Miller school of Medicine and currently serves as an expert witness for the State of California.
Dr. Syed Hasan will be providing orthopedic evaluations, treatments, and surgery. Dr. Hasan is Board Certified in both Orthopaedic Surgery and Sports Medicine. He holds Certification in Cartilage Implantation/Transplantation (ACI) and Microsurgical Techniques, Dr. Hasan is also an associate professor at Loma Linda University Medical Center. He graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles School of Medicine in 2004. Dr. Hasan has been providing compassionate and state of the art orthopedic care to those patients with musculoskeletal conditions with emphasis on extremity conditions.
Dr. Hunter is a chiropractor and qualified medical examiner. Dr. Hunter received her bachelor of science degree from UC Riverside. She then went on to receive her Doctor of Chiropractic from the Southern California University of Health Sciences where she focused on sports medicine. Following graduation she spent several years as adjunct faculty teaching physical and orthopedic exam skills as well as chiropractic manipulative technique. Dr. Hunter currently practices in Santa Ana where she specializes in personal injury and worker’s compensation.
Mark Nguyen is a licensed clinical psychologist specializing in chronic pain and cognitive processing deficit treatment. He earned two doctorate degrees in Educational Leadership and Clinical Psychology from the University of Southern California (USC) and the Chicago School of Professional Psychology. Dr. Nguyen spent his first 15 years working in public education and was an Associate Professor for the School Psychology program at National University in San Diego before joining the IPM team. As a psychologist, Dr. Nguyen helps bring a multidisciplinary approach to patients’ pain management, drawing from different disciplines including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Reality Therapy and Applied Behavior Analysis.
Pollyanna Wong is Bay Area native who graduated with a Bachelor’s in Business Economics from the University of California, Irvine. After discovering her passion in medicine, she began to pursue a lifetime career as a Physician Assistant. She completed a Pre-Medical Post-Baccalaureate program at Mills College and attained a Master of Medical Science in Physician Assistant Studies at Chapman University. Prior to PA school, Pollyanna gained experience in neurosurgery where she had the opportunity to treat various chronic pain patients. During her PA education, she developed knowledge and skills in the fields of orthopedics, neurology, and pain management.
Pollyanna is devoted to providing compassionate, comprehensive, patient-centered care to chronic pain patients, helping them regain functionality and improve their quality of life. She is excited to collaborate with the exceptional multidisciplinary team at IPM to treat patients in a personalized and holistic manner.
Pollyanna currently resides in Orange County. Outside of medicine, she enjoys baking, hiking, traveling, yoga, power-lifting, and spending quality time with family and friends.
